Hearing none, Davidson <br />closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Mayer commented that he respected the Planning Commission's view on the issue and <br />stated he felt if the City errors, this should to be one area the City should error on the side <br />of caution. <br /> <br />MOTION: Mayer moved that Council approve Ordinance No. 1340, Series 2000, <br />seconded by Brown. <br /> <br />Davidson stated that he had spoken with Chairperson of the Planning Commission <br />relative to the issue. The Planning Commission was not opposed to the ordinance, three <br />members merely had unanswered questions and therefore voted no. <br /> <br />VOTE: Roll call was taken. The motion passed by a vote of 6-0. <br /> <br />PURSUANT TO SECTION 2.92.010 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE, <br />NOTICE MUST BE GIVEN THAT AT ITS AUGUST 1, 2000 REGULAR <br />MEETING, THE LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL WILL MAKE A FINAL <br />DETERMINATION AS TO THE ACQUISITION OF REAL ESTATE FOR <br />FUTURE SITE FOR THE LOUISVILLE HOUSING AUTHORITY - 520 SOUTH <br />BOULDER ROAD <br /> <br />Davidson called for Staff presentation. <br /> <br />City Administrator Bill Simmons reported the City of Louisville intends to purchase a .58 <br />acre parcel of property at 520 South Boulder Road at Ridgeview Drive as a future site for <br />the Louisville Housing Authority. Staff anticipates presenting a final purchase agreement <br />for full consideration at the August 1, 2000 regular meeting. Pursuant to Section <br />2.92.010 of the Louisville Municipal Code, notice must be given that at its August 1, <br />2000 regular meeting, the Louisville City Council will make a final determination as to <br />the acquisition of real estate for a future site for the Louisville Housing Authority. <br />Simmons noted that the purchase price is $154,000 and the closing is scheduled for <br />September 21, 2000. Simmons stated that the owner has been given notice that the <br />existing structure on the property must be removed prior to closing or the personal <br />property on site will be donated to the City. <br /> <br />17 <br /> <br /> <br />
