PAGE TWO SUBJECT: UPDATE /DISCUSSION - PLANNING COMMISSION 2011 - 2012 WORK PLAN DATE: OCTOBER 25, 2011 • No re -plat applications were received in 2010 -2011. • No proactive actions have been taken by staff to date. 2011/12 Work Plan: Finalize the Criteria Green Building Program: ON -HOLD • City did not receive the grant requested from the Governor's Environmental Office. 2011/12 Work Plan: Staff will facilitate a discussion regarding the Green Building Elements in the 2012 Building Code Update Revisit Telecommunications / CMRS Facility Regulations: 0 , -i°i0L • The City received seven (7) CMRS applications and administratively approved each request in 2010 -11. • No proactive actions have been taken by staff to date. 2011/12 Work Plan: None Conoco - Phillips: ON -HOLD • An extension to the preliminary PUD was approved by City Council in Feb. 2011 2011/12 Work Plan: Staff will be available on an as needed basis. Urban Agriculture Assessment: ON -GOING • Staff established a review committee from the Sustainability Advisory Board; • A draft outline is complete; • White paper expected to be complete in the 4th quarter of 2011 2011/12 Work Plan: None Hwy. 42 Corridor and RTD Station Area: ON -GOING • City and CDOT have eliminated old Access Management Plan for Hwy. 42. • City and CDOT have conceptually agreed to a potential signal at a realigned Cannon Cir. • City budgeted ($150K) and received grant monies from CDOT ($75K), Boulder County ($75K) and DRCOG ($80k) to conduct an integrated infrastructure implementation plan ($400K). • City has selected a consultant to execute the 12 -18 month preliminary design. 2011/12 Work Plan: Project Manage Hwy. 42 Corridor and RTD Station Area — Integrated infrastructure Implementation Plan. Historic Preservation: ON -GOING • Staff facilitated a joint City Council /HPC /LRC /BRaD study session on the demolition process Joint review complete, no changes recommended. 10
