The motion passed by a vote of 5-0. <br />Absent: Davidson - excused, Sisk - recused. <br /> <br />Mayor Pro-Tern Sisk rejoined the meeting. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 73, SERIES 2000, A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN <br />AMENDED FINAL PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR AN ADDITIONAL <br />WALL SIGN FOR FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF COLORADO, LOT 2, <br />CENTENNIAL VALLEY, PARCEL L, FILING NO. 1, AMENDMENT NO. 1, 515 <br />MCCASLIN BOULEVARD <br /> <br />Sisk called for Staff presentation. <br /> <br />Planning Director Paul Wood stated that the Applicant is Gordon Sign Company, <br />represented by Mike Doody. Wood reviewed that the subject property was approved as a <br />final PUD development plan for a bank (Bank of Boulder) in 1997 and that approval <br />included a sign package. Since the original approval, the wall signs have been modified <br />three times: once for a change in corporate graphics and twice for name changes (Bank in <br />Louisville and now First National Bank of Colorado). The previous sign changes <br />complied with the original PUD approval and other City sign requirements, including the <br />CDDSG, and were approved administratively through a building permit process. <br /> <br />Wood reviewed that the original PUD approval included four wall signs: two on the <br />tower element at the southeast comer of the building, and one each on the north and east <br />facing building elevation. The signs were required to be back lit, have a maximum letter <br />height of 18 inches and maximum log height of 24 inches that totaled approximately 122 <br />square feet. <br /> <br />Wood stated that the Applicant has recently received a sign permit for two new wall signs <br />on the tower. Those signs comply with the previous PUD approval in terms of location, <br />sign area, letter height and type of illumination. <br /> <br />Wood summarized the Applicant's proposal of one wall sign on the west facing elevation <br />of the drive through canopy. The CDDSG limits the maximum number of wall signs to <br />three. If approved, this sign would be the third and last sign for which this <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br /> <br />
