Open Space Advisory Board <br />Nlinutes <br />June 13, 2012 <br />Page 3 of 3 <br />• Numerous members of OSAB stated that acquisition needs to be primary and <br />funds need to be retained such that the City can acquire as the properties <br />become available. <br />• However, OSAB agreed that the Board would be interested in directing the <br />CIP development and funding processes through a matrix process similar <br />to the matrix that has been developed for acquisition. <br />o Some board members were interested in also looking into operational <br />funds /projects as well. <br />• Trail connectivity and way finding are two major areas that should be addressed <br />through this process. <br />• The Board took approximately 10 minutes to look at the maps and do an initial <br />brainstorming session. <br />• OSAB plans to revisit this topic after gathering additional information and <br />proposals from other entities and documents. <br />o Master Plan, PROST, etc. <br />th <br />XI.
