Louisville City Council Meeting <br />February 6, 2001 <br />Page 17. <br /> <br />MOTION: Davidson moved that Council set out Ordinance No. 1357, Series 2001 for <br />publication and set a public hearing for February 20, 2001, seconded by Brown. All in <br />favor. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> <br />City Clerk Nancy Varra read Section 2.90.050 Public Statement of the Louisville <br />Municipal Code, pertaining to the topics described in city ordinances that may be <br />discussed in an executive session. <br /> <br />MOTION: Davidson moved that Council go into Executive Session, seconded by Sisk. <br />All in favor. <br /> <br />Council went into executive session at 9:42 p.m. <br /> <br />The meeting reconvened at 10:15 p.m. <br /> <br />City Attorney Sam Light reported that at executive session the pending lawsuit filed by <br />Qwest Wireless, L.L.C. was discussed with regard to litigation strategies. <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br /> <br />Light reported on the Public Service Company application to the Public Utilities <br />Commission (PUC). He stated that hearings were held on January 18 and 19 and post- <br />hearing statements of position were filed on Friday. He noted that there has not been a <br />decision in the case and that PUC will docket this matter for deliberation and decision <br />within the next few weeks. He advised Council that the post-hearing statements of <br />position from Public Service came in as expected. Light stated that The Louisville Power <br />Line Corridor Association filed a post hearing statement suggesting that the PUC order <br />temporary measures for the year of 2001. Staff of the PUC entered a post hearing <br />statement agreeing with the request from Public Service Company. <br /> <br />Davidson asked if the Planning Commission has reviewed alternate line routes. <br /> <br />Light stated that the Planning Commission reviewed the application and at the January <br />meeting reaffirmed the earlier recommendation of denial. Light stated that they did not <br />make any recommendation of any alternative route and Public Service did not <br />recommend any additional alternate routes, other than what was already proposed. <br /> <br />17 <br /> <br /> <br />
