3.22 Chargeable costs. Charge the Jurisdiction for the regular hourly rate of <br /> temporary employees and for such overtime and extra hours of staff needed to prepare for and <br /> conduct the Jurisdiction's election. In addition to the Jurisdiction's pro-rata share of the general <br /> cost of the Election, the Jurisdiction shall be charged any costs incurred by the County in the <br /> preparation and conduct of the Jurisdiction's election, which shall be the sole responsibility of <br /> the Jurisdiction. <br /> 3.23 If the Code provides for a specific formula for a jurisdiction to pay for its share of <br /> an election, the Clerk shall bill the Jurisdiction according to the statutory formula. <br /> 3.24 Determine the number and location of sites necessary to provide voting for voters <br /> with disabilities. For such sites, the Clerk shall provide the County's electronic vote counting <br /> equipment. The Jurisdiction is to be charged on a prorated basis for pre-election and Election <br /> Day preventive maintenance, routine maintenance, and trouble-shooting performed on the <br /> electromechanical voting equipment used in the Election. Such charges will be at the rate <br /> charged the County or County Clerk by the company providing the service. <br /> 3.25 Keep a careful and accurate accounting of time, salaries, supplies, and any other <br /> costs appropriately chargeable to the Jurisdiction. <br /> 4. RESPONSIBILITIES OF JURISDICTION <br /> The Jurisdiction agrees to perform the following tasks and activities and to assume the <br /> following obligations and responsibilities: <br /> 4.1 Boundaries of Jurisdiction. If any annexations to the Jurisdiction have occurred <br /> between January 1, 2012 and September 7, 2012, the jurisdiction is responsible for informing the <br /> County Clerk in writing by September 7, 2012. <br /> 4.2 Ballot content and layout. No later than September 7, 2012, the Election Officer <br /> shall certify the order of the ballot and the ballot content and deliver the certification to the <br /> County Clerk. The order of the ballot and the ballot content shall include the names and office <br /> of each candidate for whom a petition has been filed with the Election Officer and any ballot <br /> issues or ballot questions to be submitted to the eligible electors. The Jurisdiction shall be solely <br /> responsible for the accuracy of the information contained in the certificate. Any error that can be <br /> corrected pursuant to C.R.S. §1-5-412 shall be corrected at the expense of the Jurisdiction. <br /> 4.3 Consistent with Sections 3.1, 3.2 and 3.3 of this IGA, the Jurisdiction shall submit <br /> the ballot layout to the County Clerk in a form acceptable to the Clerk. As an example, but not <br /> as a limitation,ballot texts shall not include graphs, tables, charts or diagrams of any kind. The <br /> Clerk shall not impose a modification requirement on the Jurisdiction which would alter the <br /> ballot text in any way. This provision is intended to allow the Clerk to process the ballot layouts <br /> in a cost effective, efficient manner in order to prepare them for printing. <br /> 4.4 In addition, the Jurisdiction shall submit an audio recording of good quality with <br /> the name of each candidate clearly spoken on the recording.
