Louisville City Council Meeting <br />February 20, 2001 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />Sisk also commended Joan Riggins and Blue Parrot for the success of the senior's <br />Valentine's Day fundraiser. Sisk noted that there will be a mailing to Louisville senior <br />citizens announcing aid for heating bills. Sisk stated that there was concern about the <br />cost of postage and he hoped that Council would financial assist with those costs. <br /> <br />Howard addressed the aviation noise and stated that he would like to see Council more <br />pro-active on this issue. <br /> <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10, SERIES 2001 - A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2001 <br />BUDGET BY INCREASING REVENUES AND APPROPRIATIONS IN THE <br />GENERAL, CONSERVATION TRUST-LOTTERY, AND CAPITAL PROJECTS <br />FUNDS FOR THE CITY OF LOUSIVILLE, COLORADO - public hearing <br />(advertised Daily Camera 02/19/01 <br /> <br />Davidson called for Staff presentation. <br /> <br />Finance Director Dianne Ray reviewed that at the end of 2000, certain encumbrances <br />remained open to be expended in 2001. The totals, by fund, were shown on the 2000 <br />audited financial report as a reserve fund balance. The appropriations for these items <br />require amendment of the 2001 budget. In addition, three items approved in the budget <br />process w6re omitted in the total appropriation budget: Home Rule costs - $20,000; <br />Arts/Cultural Facility Feasibility - $10,000; and Festival of Lights - $2,500. <br /> <br />Ray reviewed the projects being rolled over from the year 2000: School Improvements; <br />Telephone System; City Aerial Photography; Highway 42/96th Street Connection; South <br />Boulder Road Underpass; Landscaping/Cherry Street Medians; Warembourg Pond <br />Reclamation; New park - Meadows at Coal Creek; and the Tennis Court Lighting for a <br />total of $1,320,490. <br /> <br />MOTION: Keany moved that Council approve Resolution No. 10, Series 2001, <br />seconded by Levihn. Roll call vote was taken. The motion passed by a vote of <br />7-0. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 11, SERIES 2001 - A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING PART <br />OF THE FUND BALANCE OF THE CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND FOR FUTURE <br />DEBT REDUCTION <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br /> <br />
