Louisville City Council Meeting <br />February 20, 2001 <br />Page 4 <br /> <br />Davidson called for Staff presentation. <br /> <br />Finance Director Dianne Ray reviewed that the planning for future debt reduction began <br />in 1997, with a designation of $100,000 toward the 1993 Sales Tax Revenue Bonds. In <br />the development of the Capital Improvements Program, an additional $100,000 was <br />added each year. This 2001 designation brings the Designation for Prepayment of Debt <br />to $500,000. The debt has a call date of 2003, when the designated balance will be <br />applied to the outstanding principal. The resolution designates only the 2001 amounts, <br />with future designations approved on an annual basis. <br /> <br />MOTION: Sisk moved that Council approve Resolution No. 11, Series 2001, seconded <br />by Keany. <br /> <br />Brown asked Ray if this is dedicated solely for debt reduction. Ray stated that it was <br />strictly dedicated for debt reduction and cannot be used for any other purpose. <br /> <br />Howard confirmed that it is a long-standing Council policy to retire debt early. <br /> <br />VOTE: Roll call vote was taken. The motion passed by a vote of 7-0. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1344, SERIES 2000- AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN <br />ANNEXATION, KNOWN AS THE FISCHER ANNEXATION, TO THE CITY OF <br />LOUISVILLE, COLORADO - 2nd reading - public hearing - continued from <br />November 8, 2000 (advertised Daily Camera 9/10/00) <br /> <br />Davidson called for City Attorney introduction. <br /> <br />City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1345, Series 2000. Light noted that Agenda <br />Items C., D. and E. involve the Fischer annexation, zoning and annexation agreement. <br />He stated that the public hearing can be opened and public comment taken all at once. <br /> <br />Sisk recused himself from the proceedings stating that his firm represented a subsidiary <br />of the Fischer Partnership. <br /> <br />Davidson excused Councilman Sisk from the proceedings. <br /> <br />Davidson opened the public hearing and called for Staff presentation. <br /> <br />City Planner Paul Wood summarized the Fischer Annexation, the zoning and the <br />annexation agreement. Wood reviewed that at the November 8, 2000 regular meeting, <br />Council continued the zoning and annexation ordinances to February 20, 2001 and <br />directed Staff to establish a 500' public notice, and conduct a neighborhood workshop to <br />discuss and seek consensus on site planning issues for the subject property.
