PARKS & RECREATION NEWS <br />Nite at <br />N1 TE AT THE REC <br />Nite at the Rec starts up again <br />on January 20th and will <br />theRee continue through May 4`h. Every <br />Friday night from 7:00 -10:30 PM <br />we will have interactive, supervised sports tournaments, <br />swimming, a different inflatable each Nite, DJ music, <br />concessions and more! Some of our themes this session <br />include PJ Party and Superhero & Sports Nites. <br />The cost is still just $10/participant, or you can pur- <br />chase four Nites for $30. A Participant Form is required <br />(one per person per school year). This fitness class offers individual one on <br />one training in a group setting. I teach correct technique <br />in weight training using stretching, interval cardio, bal- <br />ance and agility, muscle toning and conditioning. This <br />is like having a Personal Trainer for the price of a cup of <br />coffee. <br />Class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 - <br />10:30 AM with a monthly fee of $60 (residents). Register <br />by calling Jack Wagner at 720.291.4240. <br />EARLY LEARNING PRESCHOOL <br />Farly Learning Preschool registration begins in <br />iMarch for the 2012 -2013 School Year. Is your <br />preschooler ready to embark on a road full of fun and <br />learning? The Building Blocks and Stepping Stones <br />licensed preschool program at the Recreation Center of- <br />fers a fun and nurturing environment designed to meet <br />the academic, social, and physical needs of your 3 -5 year <br />old. Our play -based program offers lots of exposure to <br />ideas and concepts supporting each individual child. For <br />more information, please call Mandy at 303.335.4902. <br />CHILD CARE CHANGES <br />visa <br />ttention new parents ... the drop -in <br />Child Care at the Recreation Center <br />will now take babies as young as three <br />months during these hours: Mondays - <br />Fridays 11 AM - 1 PM and Monday - <br />Thursdays 4 - 6 PM. Parents must remain in the Recreation <br />Center while the child is in the Child Care facility. Get the <br />benefit of the Recreation Center and know your baby is <br />nearby and well -cared for. Please check our web site for de- <br />tailed information. <br />NOW OFFERING FAMILY YOGA <br />This class provides a time for families to bond while <br />exploring the physical world of yoga. Children will <br />tap into their natural playfulness and flexibility while parents <br />will reconnect with their inner child as they bark their way <br />through Downward Facing Dog and hiss in Cobra pose. <br />Parents and children will discover together that some yoga <br />postures are calming and grounding, others are energizing, <br />and all are beneficial to the body, mind, and spirit. <br />Yoga reduces stress and improves fitness, concentration, <br />coordination, balance, strength, and flexibility. Join instructor <br />Cathy Finleon Saturdays, January 2 - February 25 from 9:00 <br />- 9:45 AM for her fun approach to the many yoga postures. <br />Mats are provided or bring your own.
