All in favor. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1364, SERIES 2001 - AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN <br />AMENDMENT TO AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE AND THE COUNTY OF BOULDER, COLORADO, <br />AND AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE OF CERTAIN PARCELS OF REAL <br />ESTATE IN CONNECTION WITH SUCH AMENDMENT - 1st reading - set <br />public hearing - 7/17/01 <br /> <br />Davidson called for City Attorney Introduction. <br /> <br />City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1364, Series 2001. <br /> <br />MOTION: Howard moved that Council set Ordinance No. 1364, Series 2001, out for <br />publication and set a public hearing for July 17, 2001, seconded by Sisk. All in favor. <br /> <br />AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO NEGOTIATE AN AMENDMENT TO THE <br />INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT ENTITLED SOUTHEAST BOULDER <br />COUNTY, SOUTH 96TM STREET, DILLON ROAD, AND U.S. 287 AREA <br />COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT PLAN (the "Northwest Parkway IGA") <br />FOR AREAS CURRENTLY DESIGNATED AS RURAL PRESERVATION <br /> <br />Mayor Davidson requested that Council grant him the authority to negotiate an <br />amendment to the Northwest Parkway IGA for area currently designated as rural <br />preserve. He stated his desire to attempt to clarify the process while maintaining the <br />intent of the rural preserve designation in the IGA. <br /> <br />Mayer voiced support and suggested that Council review rezoning categories for the <br />purpose of the IGA. <br /> <br />MOTION: Sisk moved that Council authorize Mayor Davidson to negotiate an <br />amendment to the Northwest Parkway IGA for areas currently designated as rural <br />preserve, seconded by Mayer.
