Louisville City Council Meeting
July 17, 2001
Page 4

Dave Wyman and Gene Caranci presented a check for $5,400 to the City of Louisville.

Mayor Davidson presented plaques to Dave Wyman and Gene Caranci, in recognition
and appreciation of their service to the City of Louisville.

ORDINANCE NO. 1361, SERIES 2001 - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE
17 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE, ENTITLED "ZONING", BY
REZONING AS AGRICULTURAL (A) APPROXIMATELY FOUR ACRES OF
LAND AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF DILLON
ROAD AND SOUTH 104TM STREET - 2nd reading - public hearing (advertised
Daily Camera 5/12/01)

Davidson called for City Attorney introduction.

City Attorney Sam Light read Ordinance No. 1361, Series 2001.

Davidson reopened the public hearing and called for Staff presentation.

Planning Director Paul Wood stated that Ordinance No. 1361, Series 2001, if authorized,
will rezone a four-acre parcel from City of Louisville Commercial Business (CB) to
Louisville Agriculture (A). Wood stated that the Planning Commission opened the
public hearing again on July 10, and by a vote of 7-0, continued the rezoning to August
14, 2001. The recommendation was based upon the concern of the Commission that the
affected property owner was not present, and that some action to rezone the subject
parcel may be premature, or have some negative impact on discussion between the
property owner and the City with regard to the status of the property under the IGA. He
stated that Staff is requesting that Council continue this matter until August 21, 2001.

MOTION: Davidson moved that Ordinance No. 1361, Series 2001 be continued to
August 21, 2001, seconded by Keany. All in favor. Howard - absent.

City Administrator Simmons informed Council that he has scheduled meetings with the
property owners to continue discussions.

RESOLUTION NO. 30, SERIES 2001- A RESOLUTION CONCERNING A
PETITION FOR THE ANNEXATION OF PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF
LOUISVILLE, COLORADO, KNOWN AS THE MAURER ANNEXATION, AND
FINDING THE AREA PROPOSED TO BE ANNEXED ELIGIBLE FOR
ANNEXATION - continued from 7/3/01

Davidson called for City Attorney introduction.

4
