Louisville City Council Meeting <br />July 17, 2001 <br />Page 4 <br /> <br />Dave Wyman and Gene Caranci presented a check for $5,400 to the City of Louisville. <br /> <br />Mayor Davidson presented plaques to Dave Wyman and Gene Caranci, in recognition <br />and appreciation of their service to the City of Louisville. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1361, SERIES 2001 - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE <br />17 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE, ENTITLED "ZONING", BY <br />REZONING AS AGRICULTURAL (A) APPROXIMATELY FOUR ACRES OF <br />LAND AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF DILLON <br />ROAD AND SOUTH 104TM STREET - 2nd reading - public hearing (advertised <br />Daily Camera 5/12/01) <br /> <br />Davidson called for City Attorney introduction. <br /> <br />City Attorney Sam Light read Ordinance No. 1361, Series 2001. <br /> <br />Davidson reopened the public hearing and called for Staff presentation. <br /> <br />Planning Director Paul Wood stated that Ordinance No. 1361, Series 2001, if authorized, <br />will rezone a four-acre parcel from City of Louisville Commercial Business (CB) to <br />Louisville Agriculture (A). Wood stated that the Planning Commission opened the <br />public hearing again on July 10, and by a vote of 7-0, continued the rezoning to August <br />14, 2001. The recommendation was based upon the concern of the Commission that the <br />affected property owner was not present, and that some action to rezone the subject <br />parcel may be premature, or have some negative impact on discussion between the <br />property owner and the City with regard to the status of the property under the IGA. He <br />stated that Staff is requesting that Council continue this matter until August 21, 2001. <br /> <br />MOTION: Davidson moved that Ordinance No. 1361, Series 2001 be continued to <br />August 21, 2001, seconded by Keany. All in favor.
