All were in favor: <br /> Absent: Council member Sackett. <br /> BI-MONTHLY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT UPDATE <br /> Mayor Muckle requested a staff presentation. <br /> Economic Development Director DeJong updated Council on the economic <br /> developments in October and November. <br /> • Former Safeway/Alfalfa's Development—Preliminary PUD was approved for 111 <br /> market rate apartments and 33,700 square feet of retail. The main tenant of the <br /> commercial space is Alfalfa's Market. Council approved a BAP on October 16. <br /> • Phillips 66 Property— Phillips 66 plans to sell their Louisville property along US <br /> 36 and will select a realtor. Staff will encourage Phillips 66 and broker to <br /> coordinate with the City to ensure any potential buyer understands the <br /> development constraints on the site. <br /> • Historic Grain Elevator—The RFP was released on November 16th and sent to <br /> an extensive email list and posted on two websites. Early interest was on the <br /> former NAPA Auto Parts building. Recent inquiries were on the grain elevator. <br /> • Highway 42 Revitalization —The Louisville Revitalization Commission is assisting <br /> projects in the Highway 42 Revitalization Area and will determine the process for <br /> applications for TIF funds. <br /> • Boulder Valley Real Estate Conference —Director DeJong was a panelist for a <br /> session at the conference focusing on Boulder County municipalities' efforts on <br /> infill development. His presentation centered on the Highway 42 redevelopment. <br />
