Approval of Professional Services Agreement with RNL Design, Inc. <br /> for the City Services Facility <br /> COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE <br /> AGENDA <br /> Mayor Muckle thanked Council member Jasiak for providing Council tee-shirts. <br /> CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br /> City Manager Fleming thanked the Mayor and Council for recognizing the Parks and <br /> Public Works crews for clearing snow on Christmas Eve and Christmas morning. He <br /> also thanked the Police Department for working with the public on accidents occurring <br /> during the snow storm, and the Water and Wastewater plant employees, who work <br /> around the clock to provide service to the public. <br /> REGULAR BUSINESS <br /> PRESENTATION —ADAM FELS, LOUISVILLE MIDDLE SCHOOL <br /> Mayor Muckle invited Principal Fels to make a presentation. <br /> Adam Fels, Principal of Louisville Middle School (LMS), gave a short presentation <br /> recapping the year's activities at LMS. He introduced the Interim Assistant Principal <br /> John Long. He thanked the Louisville Police Department for their support during the <br /> recent school tragedy in Connecticut, which affected all school children. The pain was <br /> eased with the Louisville Police Department's excellent response. He thanked Sergeant <br /> Abromowich, Officer Logan Haymore, Officer Christy Gordanier, and Chief Goodman for <br /> rallying around the Louisville Middle school. He addressed Louisville Middle School's <br /> remodel five years ago and the removal of old trees, which were replaced by the <br /> Louisville Parks Division. He noted the traffic cones in front of the school have slowed <br /> down the traffic in front of the school. He stated LMS has 650 students, which is an all <br /> time high in enrollment. LMS students donated 4,400 cans to the food bank. Over 100 <br /> brand new coats and hats were donated to local charities.
