Planning Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />May 10, 2012 <br />Page 10 of 12 <br /> <br />Michael Menaker, 1827 W. Chokecherry Dr, provided examples of two businesses in <br />Louisville that would benefit from the changes: Market Place Bakery and Old Style <br />Sausage. <br />Summary Comments and Request from Staff and Applicant: <br />None heard. <br />Closed Public Hearing – Planning Commission Discussion: <br />Planning Commissioners indicated they had no further questions or comments. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Brauneis moved and Tengler seconded a motion to approve Resolution No. 11, <br />Series 2012, a resolution recommending approval of an ordinance amending <br />sections of the LMC to allow the limited wholesale of products/items within the <br />Commercial Community (CC) zone district, Planned Community Zone District – <br />Commercial (PCZD-C) zone districts, and the mixed use community commercial <br />(MC-CC) zone district. <br /> <br />Name Vote <br />Jeff Lipton Yes <br />Chris Pritchard Yes <br />Ann O’Connell Excused <br />Cary Tenglers Yes <br />Jeff Moline Yes <br />Steve Brauneis Yes <br />Scott Russell Yes <br />Motion passed: 6 to 0 <br /> <br />Planning Commission Comments: <br />None heard. <br />Staff Comments <br /> <br /> <br />SRU Administrative approval for 2051 Dogwood St for the office use of <br /> <br />software development within the Industrial Zone District. <br />Russ reviewed the Administrative SRU approval. <br /> <br />US 36 Design Build <br /> <br />Russ stated there are bi-weekly meetings scheduled to discuss and finalize the public <br />land dedication ahead of the PUD for the Phillips 66 site. Also a bike trail is planned <br />th <br />between Pecos and 88 Street that will have an impact on the site. <br /> <br />US 36 / McCaslin <br /> <br />Russ reviewed the unique design being proposed. More details will follow later. <br /> <br />Downtown Parking and Wayfinding Plan <br /> <br />Russ reviewed the involvement of LRC and BRaD in the Wayfinding program. He <br />noted the Planning Staff has been instrumental in designing the signs for Downtown <br />Louisville. <br /> <br />Other Comments <br /> <br /> <br />
