Posted in City Hall, Public Library, <br />Recreation Center and the Courts and Police Building on April 20, 2012. <br />Conflict of Interest: <br />None heard. <br />Staff Report of Facts and Issues: <br />Robinson discussed the LMC code amendments with the following points: <br />A recommendation to approve an ordinance amending certain sections of the <br /> <br /> <br />LMC to allow the limited wholesale of products/items within the Commercial <br />Community (CC) zone district, the Planned Community Zone District – <br />Commercial (PCZD-C); and the Mixed Use Community Commercial (MUCC) <br />zone district. <br />Illustrated with a map the zones that currently allow wholesaling as well as <br /> <br /> <br />those areas where wholesaling is not allowed. <br />Changes to the LMC include: <br /> <br /> <br />1. Define limited wholesale sales <br />2. Add limited wholesale sales to the use table <br />3. Allow limited wholesale sales in special areas (PCZD and <br />redevelopment area) <br />4. Disallow administrative SRU process for limited wholesale sales <br />Staff recommends approval of Resolution No. 11, Series 2012, a resolution <br />recommending approval of an ordinance amending sections of the LMC to allow the <br />limited wholesale of products/items within the Commercial Community (CC) zone <br />district, Planned Community Zone District – Commercial (PCZD-C) zone districts, <br />and the mixed use community commercial (MC-CC) zone district. <br />Commission Questions of Staff: <br />Tengler asked what does ‘MU’ stand for. <br />Robinson stated “Mixed Use”. <br />Moline asked how it will be enforced. <br />Robinson stated the SRU requires a public hearing which will come before the <br />Planning Commission. <br />Discussion continued by several commissioners regarding enforcement, how it differs <br />or does not differ from what occurs with other SRU reviews, and what defines <br />‘limited’. <br />Robinson and Russ discussed each for clarification. <br />Public Comment: <br /> <br />
