Hand rails are required on all walls above 30 inches in height. <br />Commission Questions of Staff: <br />Brauneis asked: 1) if the turning radius at the open space had been corrected; and 2) <br />if there is access to the future underpass <br />McCartney reviewed the street design with the use of a slide from the power point <br />presentation. He confirmed the access to the future underpass from this project site. <br />Brauneis stated the applicant should not reference LEED unless they are going to <br />certify to the LEED standards. <br />Moline discussed for clarification the proposed land dedication. He asked for an <br />explanation of a “quiet zone” and why a zero (0) setback. <br />McCartney clarified the land dedication, explained the “quiet zone” and stated a zero <br />setback brings the public closer to the private areas. <br /> <br />
