Louisville City Council Meeting <br />December 4, 2001 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />Program is available to first time homebuyers in Boulder County. She explained that the <br />City of Longmont and Boulder County Housing Authority offer the program through a <br />grant from the Colorado Division of H <br />ousing. The program is designed to help low and moderate income households purchase <br />a home not exceeding the FHA purchase limit of $239,250. The program will provide a <br />loan for up to 5% of the purchase price, or a maximum of $9,000, to be used for down <br />payment and closing costs. There are two types of loans available, a low-interest loan and <br />a deferred loan. Buyers are required to complete a comprehensive Home Ownership <br />Training class prior to signing a purchase contract. <br /> <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON <br /> THE AGENDA <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1373, SERIES 2001 - AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE <br />VACATION OF AN ACCESS EASEMENT WITHIN THE ALVENUS PARK <br />SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE - 2m> reading - public hearing <br />(advertised Daily Camera 11/24/01) <br /> <br />Davidson called for City Attorney introduction. <br /> <br />City Attorney Sam Light read Ordinance No. 1373, Series 2001. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Staff presentation. <br /> <br />Planning Director Paul Wood reviewed that in February of 2001, the Lodge at Balfour <br />was approved as a Final PUD for an Independent Living Facility on both Lots 2 and 3. <br />The Alvenus Park Subdivision was platted in 1994 and created a joint access easement on <br />the common property line of Lots 2 and 3. The City Council Resolution of approval <br />required a condition that an ordinance vacating the shared access easement be presented <br />for action after recordation of the Covenant Agreement and before issuance of a building <br />permit. <br /> <br />Davidson asked if there was an applicant presentation.
