Mayer asked Finance Director Dianne Ray if the Via Appia underpass was dropped from the budget. Ray confirmed that item was dropped from the budget. Mayer stressed that the Via Appia underpass was not dropped at Council's request and that it would be reviewed in the near future. Brown noted that the budget changes every year and in the past years, funds were dedicated toward early retirement of debt service. He stressed that this year, Council has made a change from the previous precedence and elected to fund continuing programs. Davidson complimented Staff for preparation of the budget and the expedited process. RESOLUTION NO. 58, SERIES 2001 - SUMMARIZING EXPENDITURES AND REVENUES FOR EACH FUND AND ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR BEGINNING ON THE FIRST DAY OF JANUARY 2002 AND ENDING THE LAST DAY OF DECEMBER 2002. MOTION: Sisk moved that Council approve Resolution No. 58, Series 2001, seconded by Brown. City Attorney Light offered a friendly amendment that the approval should be based on the revised budget information. Sisk and Brown accepted the friendly amendment. VOTE: Roll call vote was taken. The motion passed by a vote of 6-0. Howard absent. RESOLUTION NO. 59, SERIES 2001 - ANNUAL APPROPRIATION RESOLUTION FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 2002, AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2002 FOR THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE MOTION: Sisk moved that Council approve Resolution No. 59, Series 2001, as revised, seconded by Brown. Roll call vote was taken. The motion passed by a vote of 6-0. Howard absent. RESOLUTION NO. 60, SERIES 2001 - LEVYING GENERAL PROPERTY TAXES FOR THE YEAR 2001 TO HELP DEFRAY THE COSTS OF GOVERNMENT FOR THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO, FOR THE 2002 BUDGET YEAR MOTION: Sisk moved that Council approve Resolution No. 60, Series 2001, seconded by Brown.
