Louisville City Council Meeting <br />March 5, 2002 <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />Davidson called for City Attomey introduction. <br /> <br />City Attorney Sam Light read Ordinance No. 1378, Series 2002. <br /> <br />MOTION: Sisk moved that Council send Ordinance No. 1378, Series 2002 out for <br />publication and set a public hearing for April 2, 2002, seconded by Keany. All in favor. <br />Brown excused. <br /> <br />AVISTA ANNEXATION <br /> <br />Sisk recused himself from the discussion and vote of the Agenda Items referring to the <br />Avista Annexation. <br /> <br />Davidson asked that the record reflect that Councilman Sisk was excused from the <br />Agenda Items referring to the Avista Annexation. <br /> <br />City Attorney Sam Light stated that Agenda Item E 1., 2., and 3., all relate to the <br />proposed annexation and zoning of the Avista Adventist Hospital Annexation. He stated <br />that, as part of one public hearing, it is been the practice of Council to consider the <br />testimony on the issue of the annexation or the requested zoning for the property. He <br />requested that for purposes of making a record of the hearing, the Council, by motion, <br />formally include into this record of the public hearing, the following documents: the <br />annexation and zoning application filed by the applicant; all of the documents the <br />applicant has filed with the City relating to the applications; all materials, included in the <br />City Council packets relating to Agenda Item 7E and 7F; the minutes of the Planning <br />Commission hearing on the applications; the City's zoning ordinances; the City's <br />Comprehensive Plan, and any other public records in the Planning Department files that <br />are related to the proposed annexation and zoning. <br /> <br />MOTION: Davidson moved that the documents outlined by the City Attorney be <br />included in the record, seconded by Keany. All in favor. Sisk and Brown excused. <br /> <br />Davidson called for City Attorney introduction of Ordinances. <br /> <br />City Attorney Light read Ordinance Nos. 1379 and 1380, Series 2002. <br /> <br />Davidson opened the public hearing for Resolution No. 5, Series 2002, and Ordinance <br />Nos. 1379 and 1380, Series 2002. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Staff presentation. <br /> <br />Planning Director Paul Wood reviewed that Resolution No. 5, Series 2002 concludes that <br />all statutory requirements have been met, and that the property is eligible for annexation <br />under the laws of the State of Colorado.
