Ray stated that it was the <br />tennis courts project at the Recreation Center, which was funded in 2000. <br /> <br />MOTION: Keany moved that Resolution No. 9, Series 2002 be adopted, seconded by <br />Brown. Roll call vote was taken. The motion carried by a vote of 6-0. Davidson <br />excused. <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE RESERVOIR PROPERTY ACQUISITION <br /> <br />Sisk called for City Attorney introduction. <br /> <br />City Attorney Light read the following notice: Pursuant to Section 2.92.010 of the <br />Louisville Municipal Code, Notice is Hereby Given That at Its April 2, 2002 Regular <br />Meeting, The Louisville City Council will Make a Final Determination as to the <br />Acquisition, for Water System Enterprise Purposes, of Fee Title to a Certain Parcel of <br />Land Totaling 0.146 Acres, More or Less, Lying Adjacent to the East Side of the Existing <br />Louisville Reservoir within the City of Louisville, and in the SE ¼ of Section 7, <br />Township 1 South, Range 79 West of the 6th P.M. <br /> <br />Sisk called for Staff presentation. <br /> <br />City Manager Bill Simmons reviewed Louisville Reservoir Rehabilitation Project and <br />explained that additional land was required for completion. The adjacent landowner is <br />the City of Lafayette, who has agreed that the value assigned to the property could be <br />deeded to Louisville for past considerations. <br /> <br />Sisk called for public comment. There were no public comments. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Mayer asked for the nature of the compensation granted to the City of Lafayette. <br />Public Works Director Tom Phare stated that about two years ago the City of Louisville <br />provided treated water to Lafayette during an emergency situation. <br /> <br />Mayer thanked the City of Lafayette for working with the City. <br /> <br />Sisk stated that this represents the good neighbor policy between the Cities of Louisville <br />and Lafayette. <br /> <br />MOTION: Keany moved that Council authorize publication of their intent to make final <br />determination as to the acquisition for water system enterprise purposes, of fee title to a <br />certain parcel or land total 0.147 acres, at their April 2, 2002 regular meeting, seconded <br />by Levihn.
