City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />June 4, 2013 <br />Page 2 of 10 <br />concerns expressed. He stated the feedback provided was for more food trucks at each <br />event. <br /> <br />Doug Grinbergs, 530 W. Sycamore Circle, Louisville, CO asked the City to improve their <br />communication to the public on the status of City projects. He suggested signage with a <br />code, which could be scanned by a smart phone to receive updates on the status of <br />projects. It could also be linked to a site where residents could post comments. This <br />would allow information to be shared and the residents to be involved. With respect to <br />the McCaslin Underpass Project, he supported the option of rerouting traffic to Via <br />Appia and shutting down McCaslin to complete the project in a shorter timeframe. <br /> <br />Caryn Greef, 161 S. Raintree, Louisville, CO suggested new signage at the City’s dog <br />parks. She explained there have been some incidents where children have been bitten <br />or knocked down by dogs. She felt appropriate signage is needed. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF THE CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />Mayor Muckle called for changes to the consent agenda and hearing none, moved to <br />approve the agenda, seconded by Council member Loo. Resolution No. 26, Series 2013 – A Resolution Approving an <br /> Intergovernmental Agreement with the City of Lafayette for a Lift Station <br /> Emergency Overflow Connection – continued from 5/21/13 <br /> <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE <br />AGENDA <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tem Dalton reported Town of Superior Trustee Debra Williams had back <br />surgery this week and is expected to make a full recovery. <br /> <br />Council member Jasiak reported on the following changes to the downtown area: The <br />new downtown patios were installed and she expressed her thanks to staff, the <br />Downtown Business Association, the downtown merchants, and the citizens who <br />provided input on the mock-up models. A new stop sign was installed at the <br />intersection of South Street and Main Street as a measure to slow down traffic coming <br />into the downtown area. Every Friday through Sunday during the summer, temporary <br />pedestrian crossing signs will be placed at intersections along downtown Main Street. <br />Council welcomes all feedback on the new traffic calming measurers. <br /> <br />Mayor Muckle thanked the Chamber of Commerce for another successful and record <br />setting “Taste of Louisville” event.
