Regal Court had a sewer backup, displacing three families; work will be complete <br />this week <br /> <br />b) Section 8 statistics <br /> Covered in annual report <br /> <br />Matters from Members of the Board <br /> <br />Terri and Heather gave an update on the Louisville City Council visit to Josephine Commons. <br />Mayor Muckle, Mayor Cutler, Ron Sacket, Susan Lou, Malcolm, Heather, Aaron, and the <br />Louisville Planning Director were there. It was good to have that many representatives. <br /> <br />The Board and staff felt it was a very positive response. It was clear that Boulder County is <br />going to meet their commitments and a continued validation that this IGA was a good decision. <br /> <br />Frank said that the city is running their meal program out of the building. It adds a community <br />component to the common area. <br /> <br />Heather said that the Louisville Recreation Center serves the entire community but it’s in a <br />different side of the city. There are some great opportunities there to provide some facilities and <br />great things we can do in the future. <br /> <br />Terri mentioned that the Lafayette mayor said how well we all worked together. <br /> <br />Walt asked for updates on the Habitat for Humanity Property at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Heather said 5-6 years ago we got funding from the stadium district for affordable housing. That <br />could be an opportunity to assist them. LHA tried this and couldn’t do it. It still needs to be <br />affordable at the end of the day. <br /> <br />The Board briefly discussed the land donation to Habitat for Humanity and the financing <br />struggles with the infrastructure since that time.
