Discussion: Property Tour Evaluation <br /> The Board discussed attributes of the properties visited on the van tour <br />and then completed the scoring of all the properties using the evaluation <br />rubric. The Board visited properties: XX, ZZ, WW, and YY. Property C <br />was not visited because the land is under development. Refer to the rubric <br />document for details. <br /> Property “XX” – there was general discussion about the features of the <br />property. <br /> Property “ZZ” - there was general discussion about the features of the <br />property. <br /> Property “WW” - there was general discussion about the features of <br />the property. <br /> Property “YY” - there was general discussion about the features of the <br />property. <br /> Property “EE” - there was general discussion about the features of the <br />property. <br /> Property “C”- was not visited due to current housing developments on <br />property. <br /> <br />IX. Discussion: OSAB Recommendations for Boulder County Parks and <br /> Open Space Trail and Project Funding <br /> OSAB recommended the top 4 properties from the 2013 rubric: <br />D Mayhoffers <br />N Rural Preservation <br />UU Hwy 287 (rating of west section) <br />XX Large Lots W. of Davidson Mesa <br /> <br /> Property “XX”, Large lots west of Davidson Mesa moved to the fourth <br />property choice for OSAB. OSAB decided to recommend this property for <br />the following reasons: <br />a. Would serve as an additional buffer between the Highway 36 <br />corridor and Davidson Mesa Open Space. <br />b. Is contiguous to Boulder County Open Space to the west. <br />c. Protect the view shed. <br />4
