City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />October 16, 2007 <br />Page 8 of 15 <br />be single family homes priced at approximately $750,000. He noted the quality <br />and the diversity of the neighborhoods. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />Annie Hughes, 1405 Garfield Court, Louisville, CO stated she has heard from <br />residents about the need for patio homes. Mr. Brews stated they will be looking <br />at that type of housing. <br />David Waldman, 1871 Continental View Drive, Louisville, CO commended the <br />project. He reported the Open Space Advisory Board believes the project is <br />lacking in the connectivity of the regional trail system. <br />Steve Simms, Summit View Professional Park, LLC, was impressed with the <br />overall plan. <br />COUNCIL QUESTIONS <br />Council member Muckle askE;d Waldman if the Open Space Advisory Board <br />supported the trails within they project. Mr. Waldman confirmed the Open Space <br />Advisory Board supports the trail within the project, but feel it lacks connectivity <br />to other trails in the community. <br />Council member Muckle commended the applicants for their proposal and asked <br />if there will be a sidewalk along Highway 42. Mr. Brew responded yes. <br />Council member Muckle askE~d if the water from ditches would flood basements. <br />Planning Director Wood responded no. <br />Jason McGrath, J3 Engineering, stated the grading and the buffering between <br />the ditches and the housing units would resolve any flooding issues. <br />Council member Muckle requested information relative to the fiscal analysis of <br />the project. Andy Knudtsen, f=conomic Planning Systems reviewed the Takoda <br />Village PUD Fiscal Impact Analysis. <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br />Council member Marsella also commended the developer for taking the City <br />Council and citizen's input grid implementing those comments into their plan. <br />Council member Clabots reported the Senior Advisory Board also supports patio <br />homes and starter homes. <br />Council member Sackett commended the developer for the changes to the plan. <br />
