C. Beer and Wine License. A beer and wine license shall be issued to persons selling malt and vinous liquors in a place where such liquors are to be consumed if said place is a hotel or restaurant. D. Hotel and Restaurant License. A hotel and restaurant license shall be issued to persons selling malt, vinous, AND spirituous liquors in the place where such liquors are to be consumed, subject to the following restrictions: 1. Restaurants shall sell malt, vinous, and spirituous liquors only to customers of such restaurant, and only if meals are actually and regularly served and provide not less than twenty-five percent of the gross income of the business of the licensed premises. 2. Hotels shall sell malt, vinous, and spirituous liquors only to customers of said hotel and, except in hotel rooms, only on the licensed premises where meals are actually and regularly served and provide not less than twenty-five percent of the gross restaurant income of the business of the licensed premises. 3. Each hotel and restaurant licensee shall himself OR HERSELF manage or have a separate and distinct manager of each liquor-licensed premises, and shall register said manager with the ~ LOCAL LICENSING AUTHORITY. 4. The city council LOCAL LICENSING AUTHORITY may refuse to accept any person as a registered manager unless he THE PERSON is satisfactory to the city council LOCAL LICENSING AUTHORITY as to character, record, and reputation. E. Tavern License. A tavern license shall be issued to persons selling malt, vinous, eF AND spirituous liquors by the drink only to customers for consumption on the premises, and such licensee shall have sandwiches and light snacks available for consumption on the premises during business hours, but he need not have meals available for consumption. F. Club License. A club license shall be issued to persons selling malt, vinous, and spirituous liquors only to members and guests of such club, and only on the premises of the club. 2
