Louisville City Council Meeting <br />September 17, 2002 <br />Page 8 <br /> <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION- <br />REGULAR BUSINESS ITEMS SUSPENDED <br /> <br />ao <br /> <br />City Attorney Is Requesting the City Council Convene An Executive Session For <br />The Purpose Of Consultation With Respect to Pending Litigation (Centennial <br />Valley Properties, II, LLC, The Park at CTC, LLC, and the Park at CTC III, LLC <br />v. City of Louisville, Case No. 02CV902, Boulder County District Court, Div. 1. <br /> <br />MOTION: Davidson moved that Council go into Executive Session to discuss pending <br />litigation and negotiation strategy with the City Attorney and asked that the Deputy City <br />Manager also attend the session, seconded by Keany. All in favor. <br /> <br />City Clerk Varra read Section 2.90.050 Public Statement, of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code, which outlines the topics of discussion permissible at an Executive Session. <br /> <br />Davidson suspended the regular business meeting at 8:10 p.m. <br /> <br />Davidson reconvened the business meeting at 8:40 p.m. <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY REPORT FROM EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> <br />City Attorney Light reported that, in the Executive Session Council discussed litigation <br />strategy with respect to the pending case of Centennial Valley Properties, II, LLC, The <br />Park at CTC, LLC, and the Park at CTC III, LLC v. City of Louisville, Case No. <br />02CV902, Boulder County District Court, Div. 1. The City Attorney received Council <br />direction with regard to litigation strategy. <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br /> <br />City Manager Bill Simmons reported that the City has received a positive response from <br />the Colorado Department of Transportation in regard to signs along US 36. He explained <br />that four new signs would be installed along US 36 to identify the Louisville/Superior <br />exit, along with a sign to identify McCaslin Blvd. He noted that the requested signage of <br />the Historic Downtown Business District was not approved because the downtown area is <br />not historically landmarked. <br /> <br />Simmons reminded Council of the September 24, 2002 work session.
