Mayor Muckle and Council <br />member Jasiak accepted the friendly amendments. <br />Council member Stolzmann offered a friendly amendment to remove Option #2. <br />Council member Jasiak did accept the friendly amendment. <br />Council member Stolzmann offered an unfriendly amendment to remove Option #2, <br />seconded by Council member Loo. <br />City Attorney clarified the vote on the unfriendly amendment is only for the removal of <br />Option #2 from the main motion. Mayor Muckle clarified a yes vote removes the <br />prohibition on the logo products. <br />VOTE: Roll call vote was taken on the unfriendly amendment to remove Option #2 from <br />the motion. The motion passed by a vote of 4 -3. Mayor Muckle and Council members <br />Lipton and Jasiak voted no. <br />MAIN MOTION: Motion to adopt Ordinance No. 1649, Series 2013, as amended. Roll <br />call vote was taken. The motion carried by a vote of 7 -0. <br />ORDINANCE No. 1650, SERIES 2013 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 17 OF <br />THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE TO ADOPT REGULATIONS <br />REGARDING RETAIL MARIJUANA ESTABLISHMENTS — 2nd Reading — <br />Public Hearing <br />MOTION: Mayor Muckle moved to approve Ordinance No. 1650, Series 2013 on <br />second reading, seconded by Mayor Pro Tenn Dalton. <br />City Attorney offered two friendly amendments: 1) Addition to Sec. 17.16.237 C to add <br />the sentence: "The maximum physical space occupied by any medical marijuana <br />business and retail marijuana establishment sharing premises shall never exceed three <br />thousand eight hundred (3,800) square feet of leasable floor space" <br />2) Addition to Section 7 of exception phrase so as to allow change of location <br />(underlined): "Upon the effective date of this ordinance, and until December 31, 2014, but <br />except as provided in Ordinance No. 1648, Series 2013, no application or request for a <br />change in location of premises shall be received, reviewed, approved, or otherwise acted <br />44 <br />
