He said he feltthe relationship with the State <br />Liquor Enforcementwas good, but would gladly have themaddress the <br />Authority if the members wished to hear from them. <br />Authority member Carlson reported he brought this issue forward and is in a <br />unique position to hear of these compliance checks by the State from other <br />sources. He stated he was much more pleased with the attitude of education <br />and support provided by the local enforcement in Louisville. He was not as <br />supportive of trying to catch a server or seller in a sting. He felt Louisville <br />was thoughtful and supportive of the legal use of alcohol. <br />Chairperson Rommelfanger thanked Authority member Carlson and <br />Sergeant Lanphere for their enlightening discussion. He remarked the <br />establishments should have an easy way for their servers to determine <br />identification validity. Sergeant Lanphere reported a lot of time was spent at <br />the last training going over how to quickly make sure a customer is of age. <br />Secretary’s Report <br />Hanson reported the schedule for the 2014 meetings was included in the packet. <br />She said the terms for the Authority members had gotten off track and some <br />members would be appointed terms shorter than four years. She thanked <br />Authority member Wilson for her many years of service on the board. The <br />Authority members expressed their appreciation and gave her a round of <br />applause. <br />Authority Attorney’s Report <br />No report. <br />Authority Comment <br />Authority members decided to cancel the December meeting. <br />Adjourn <br />–Wilsonmoved to adjourn.
