LCityof
Louisville
COLORADO • SINCE 1878
Golf Course Advisor). Board Tour Notes
June 18 2014
Putting Green: Kevin Norby raised the concept of a Himalayas / Punchbowl
putting green design. This is laid out with undulations and can be used as a
several hole putting feature. This requires more space and would not provide
additional direct revenue but would be an added feature attraction for the course.
Costs: LU plans to have more up to date costs for both the basic NTE items and
the Add /Alternate items should be available in around 2 weeks. The window of
opportunity to add or delete items from the plan is closing fast so a special Board
meeting will be convened to assign priorities.
LU: Brian Vitek has taken over from Jeff Cordes as Project Manager. Jeff
Cordes is still involved but is handling only the FEMA aspects of the program.
The Board was pleased with the progress seen and the frankness of City staff
and the contractor in discussing issues and answering questions. We hope to
have a tour each month so that we can help the community understand the
progress being made and also provide an independent input to City Council on
activities and issues.
PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT • 749 MAIN STREET • LOUISVILLE, CO 80027
(303) 335.4735 • FAX (303) 335.4738
www.Iouisvilleco.gov
PARKS RECREATION SENIOR SERVICES OPEN SPACE FORESTRY TRAILS
GOLF
8
