They want signage that is consistent to <br />the types of signs that have been approved to date in this area. <br /> <br />Members of the Public: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Commission Questions: <br /> <br />Commissioner McDermott asked if they are going to use any heated concrete around the north <br />entrance. Mr. Ellerman stated that they have not. <br /> <br />Staff Summary and Recommendation: <br /> <br />Ken Johnstone stated that Staff is recommending approval with 12 conditions in Resolution No. <br />16, Series 2000. <br /> <br />Public Hearing Closed / Commission Comments / Vote: <br /> <br />Commissioner McAvinew is okay with cast stone and unsure about the flagstone. <br /> <br />Commissioner Pritchard agrees with Staff’s recommendations. <br /> <br />Commissioner Kalish also agrees with Staff’s recommendations. She likes the natural stone and <br />would like to see more of it used. <br /> <br />Commissioner Lipton is concerned with the parking. He feels that it is over parked. He would <br />like to see a parking ratio that is closer to what is provided in the other buildings until such time <br />as they can demonstrate the need for the additional parking. Mr. Lipton will support Staff’s <br />recommendation the way it is at this time. <br /> <br />Commissioner Leh likes the product that the applicant has brought forward for the cast stone. <br />Mr. Leh is also concerned with the parking and feels that too much parking may look <br />unattractive. <br /> <br />Commissioner McDermott is in favor of the cast stone. The flagstone he feels may be tough to <br />maintain. As far as the signage, he would like to see it to know what it is before the Commission <br />approves it. <br /> <br /> <br /> 17 <br /> <br />
