<br />Commissioner Lipton made a motion to approve Resolution No. 32, Series 1999, with the changes <br />made by the Planning Commission. Seconded by Commissioner Pritchard. <br /> <br />Chairman Boulet stated that he has tremendous amount of respect for Paul Wood and if he thinks <br />that he can get these items ironed out by the time it goes to City Council he will give him his full <br />support. <br /> <br /> Lipton read a new Condition No. 20 to read, “The applicant must submit a separate sign package to <br />the Planning Commission for approval.” <br /> <br />A second recommendation was offered to read, “That the applicant in submitting the signage <br />package will include a monument sign for the Comfort Inn.” <br /> <br />Solek made a friendly amendment to Condition No. 9 to read, “That drive-thru uses are also <br />prohibited.” <br /> <br />Lipton made a friendly amendment to the include Recommendation No. 1 in the motion. <br /> <br />Second agreed. <br /> <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Betty Solek, Yes; Chris Pritchard, Yes; Patricia Thompson, Yes; Jeff Lipton, Yes; <br />Bill Boulet, Yes. Motion passes 5:0. <br /> <br />A five-minute recess was taken. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />B.Resolution No. 33, Series 1999, 608 Main Street, Special Review Use for an <br />acupuncture school, acupuncture and massage clinic and related office space. <br /> <br />Staff Public Notice Certification: <br /> <br />Ken Johnstone, Principal Planner, certified that public notice was published in the Daily Camera on <br />June 27, 1999, mailed to surrounding property owners on June 25, 1999, and posted in City Hall. <br />All Planning Commissioners verified that they were familiar with the site. <br /> <br />Staff Report and Facts and Issues: <br /> <br />Mr. Johnstone presented the details of this matter as stated in the staff report.
