Boulet is concerned about having a multi-colored signage package on a strip mall type design.

Haisfield stated that there would only be one tenant (Blockbuster) with two colors. The other
proposed occupants will only have the garnet color.

Commissioner Solek asked if they are proposing any drive through drop boxes.

Mr. Turner stated that drop boxes are sometimes dangerous and that there are also safety issues for
their employees, therefore they are not asking for any other drop boxes.

Commissioner Pritchard is concerned with the number of employees working at all of the facilities and
the number of parking spaces that will be occupied by them.

Pritchard asked if any of the tenants would be using any type of antennas.

Mr. Haisfield stated that they would not be visible.

Staff Summary:

Mr. Wood stated that Staff is forwarding Resolutions 43, 58 and 59, with the respective conditions as
noted in the record.

Applicant Summary:

Mr. Haisfield wanted the Commission to know that Blockbuster is okay with putting in a remote drop
box as well, however, they are having difficulty in finding a location that would satisfy everyone’s
concerns. Haisfield suggested the far eastern elevation near the relief lane for the bank. Haisfield
stated that they are in agreement with all conditions proposed.

Commission Comments/Vote:

Commissioner Lipton has never seen a development to be under parked. He does not believe that
Blockbuster parking will be a problem. He is flexible on the idea of the remote drop box, and would
prefer the drop to be in the building itself.

Commissioner McAvinew does not favor a drive through drop box.

Commissioner Boulet would also like any additional drop boxes to be part of the building. He does
not see any problem with parking with these three tenants. Boulet’s only concern is the different sign
color for Blockbuster. He would like the color to remain uniform with the other tenants.

Commissioner Solek would like to see one of the drop boxes as a remote location and one on the
building.

7
