<br />Approved – September 18, 2003 <br />McAvinew closed the public hearing and requested Commission comments. <br /> <br />Robson requested clarification on the height. He also stated that he supports the request <br /> <br />Kalish agreed that at the entrance to Louisville off of US 36 it is difficult at best to locate the <br />motel. She also stated that she supports the request. <br /> <br />McAvinew stated that he supports the request on all aspects: location, lighting, and size. <br /> <br />Pritchard had no comments. <br /> <br />McDermott stated that the building had been designed to fit the neighborhood and the selection of <br />the signage has been one that fits into the neighborhood. However, since the O’Connor Group is not party to the application she does <br />not feel there is a conflict of interest. <br /> <br />McAvinew acknowledged the disclosure and the Commissioners agreed that she did not have a <br />conflict of interest. <br /> <br />Public Notice Certification: <br />McAvinew requested Staff public notice verification.
