Willow St., addressed his concerns with the development of South Boulder <br />Road and McCaslin, identified as Opportunity Area #7. He does not support residential <br />development to the west of McCaslin. <br /> <br />Gail Hartman, 724 Ponderosa Ct., stated that she had attend all of the public workshops. She <br />stated that she does not support the Comp Plan as it does not represent what the residents were <br />saying at the public workshops. She also believes that the residents do not want to add residential <br />units to Louisville. <br /> <br />George C. McKee, 946 Cypress Ln., also president of the Cherrywood II HOA, opposes the high <br />density plan for west of McCaslin. Also requested that the plan should reflect that Cherrywood II <br />is currently residential and not commercial. <br /> <br />Tom Davidson, 611 W. Chestnut Ct., briefly discussed some financial impacts of the proposed <br />plan and the issue of school closings and affordable housing. He provided copies of ‘affordable’ <br />housing that he found on the internet. He also stated that land is what drives up the cost of <br />housing. <br /> <br />Pritchard moved and McDermott seconded a motion to enter those documents into public record. <br />Motion passed by unanimous voice vote. <br /> <br />Frost Yarnell, 1109 Hillside Lane, showed slides of wildlife that currently inhabits the area that <br />is proposed for development (Area #6) and requested that the area not be developed. <br /> <br />Tom Mayer, 580 Wildrose Way, stated that the population should be kept to 20,000 and that <br />Louisville does not need rooftops which would only drive up the need for more services. The <br />real need is for regional retail (sales tax). He also stated that the document does not state what <br />the residents of Louisville want. <br /> <br />Ty Gee, 253 Hoover Ct., stated that the ‘preferred plan’ does not represent what the residents of <br />Louisville want. The open house and survey were good ideas but the problem is that the <br />consultant team did not listen and did not ask the appropriate questions such as: 1) How large of <br />a City do the residents want? 2) How many house to allow? 3) How will this affect the quality of <br />life? 4) Where does it make sense to add housing? <br /> <br />Lockett Wood, 347 Pratt St., expressed that the new plan does not demonstrate the approved <br />annexation agreement for the southwest corner of Pascal Dr. and HWY 42. <br /> <br />Rosie Grady, 1169 Hillside Lane, expressed concern with the proposed high density areas. <br /> <br />Bob Muckle, 1101 Lincoln Ave., explained that he is Chair of the Open Space Advisory Board <br />and they are concerned with three areas of development: Area #1, they would like to see <br />5 <br /> <br /> <br />
