Planning Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />NOVEMBER 10, 2005 <br />Page 5 of 12 <br /> <br />Eric Garcia, Manager, stated that the request for the additional signage was previously <br />stated by Staff and Bellefeuille. The lunch traffic has been flat and they hope to expand <br />the lunch traffic. <br />Deborski asked if they had other means of increasing the traffic. <br />Garcia stated that they have been distributing information with the ‘Take out Menu’ and <br />with banners for special events. <br />Pritchard suggested that they notify the local hotels and perhaps distribute menus to the <br />hotels. <br />Members of the Public: None heard. <br />Commission Questions of Staff and Applicant: No additional comments. <br />Public Hearing Closed / Commission Comments: <br />Sheets stated that she supports the request. <br />Deborski stated that his comments were not just specific to Carrabba’s but to all the <br />businesses along McCaslin and that they should investigate other ways to increase <br />business and not always rely on signs. He also stated that he supports the request. <br />Pritchard, McAvinew, and Loo had no additional comments. <br />Pritchard moved and Loo seconded a motion to approve Resolution No. 23, Series 2005, <br />a resolution recommending approval of an amended final PUD development plan for <br />modifications to three existing wall signs at 575 McCaslin Blvd., Lot 3, Centennial <br />Valley, Parcel L, Filing No. 1, Carrabba’s Italian Grill with the following one condition <br />of approval: <br /> <br />1)The plans shall be revised to correct the sign area calculation, as discussed in the <br />Planning Commission staff report and a set of PUD plan sheets shall be prepared <br />subsequent to City Council approval, subject to staff review and approval. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br /> <br />Name Vote <br />Jeff Lipton Excused <br />Tom McAvinew Yes <br />Chris Pritchard Yes <br />Susan Loo Yes <br />Michael Deborski Yes <br />Monica Sheets Yes <br />Hank Dalton Excused <br />Motion passed: 5:0 (Lipton and Dalton excused) <br /> <br /> <br />Resolution No. 24, Series 2005, Pleasant Hill Addition, Replat ‘A’ <br />, a <br />proposed three-lot single-family residential subdivision at 933 and 945 <br />Lincoln Ave., in the Old Town Overlay and Residential Low Density (RL) <br /> <br />
