Planning Commission <br />Staff Report <br />October 9, 2014 <br />The CTL Thompson study was a mine subsidence investigation with a purpose of <br />evaluating "mine subsidence risk and provide mitigation concepts to reduce risk (if <br />needed)." The report determined the risk of mine subsidence for this property is low. <br />However, the engineers recommend "that buildings be sited at least 50 feet from the <br />shaft." Copies of these reports have been attached to this report. <br />Site Plan <br />The PUD is designed to have the frontage of the 6 proposed houses face Hutchinson <br />Street. The houses would be accessed from the south via a private alley. The <br />Hutchinson front is designed with a proposed linear park, mine monument, and trail.
