Board of Adjustment <br />Meeting Minutes <br />September 17, 2014 <br />Page 4 of 4 <br />Public Present in Opposition of Application: <br />None heard. <br />Public Present in Favor of Application: <br />None heard. <br />Public Hearing Closed / Board Discussion: <br />Malmquist stated the variance is very small and the property was tested in the 2013 <br />floods. He recommends approval. <br />Ewy stated the application as well put together and the engineering analysis was great. <br />She does not believe the request will propose a risk. <br />Malmquist added the flood plain will be modified in a year. <br />The remainder of the commission nodded in agreement. <br />Malmquist made a motion to approve. Ewy seconded the motion. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Chris Fuller, Chair Yes <br />James Stuart <br />Christine Niska <br />Andrew Meseck <br />Gunnar Malms uist <br />Carl Borrmann <br />Motion sassed: <br />Discussion Items <br />McCartney stated the administrative variance • • finance was approved at Council on <br />September 16th, but won't take effect until October 22nd, after the appeal period. <br />Business Items tentatively scheduled for October 15, 2014 <br />McCartney stated there was an application submitted, for a rear yard setback variance. <br />Staff Comments <br />None heard. <br />Board Comments <br />ii4lNone heard <br />Discussion Items <br />to Next Meeting <br />None heard. <br />Adjourn <br />Stuart moved and Malmquist seconded a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:38 p.m. <br />Motion passed unanimously by voice vote. <br />
