<br />NONE <br /> <br />Davidson closed the public hearing and called for Council comments or motions. <br /> <br />Lathrop asked if all of the conditions of the contract had been cleared, i.e. the environmental scan. <br /> <br />Simmons stated that the environmental scan had been done and found no significant environmental <br />concerns on the property. The draft lease had been prepared and Simmons will meet with <br />Daughenbaugh tomorrow. <br /> <br />Lathrop moved that Council approve Ordinance No. 1243, Series 1996, authorizing the payment of <br />Louisville money pursuant to a Purchase Contract to Buy and Sell Real Estate between City of <br />Louisville and Duane Daughenbaugh, seconded by Mayer. Roll call was taken. Motion passed by <br />a 6 - 0 vote with Howard being absent. <br /> <br />MARTENS ANNEXATION <br /> <br />(1) RESOLUTION NO. 78, SERIES 1996 - CONCERNING A PETITION FOR <br />THE ANNEXATION OF PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, <br />COLORADO, KNOWN AS THE MARTENS ANNEXATION, AND FINDING <br />THE AREA PROPOSED TO BE ANNEXED ELIGffiLE FOR ANNEXATION <br /> <br />Paul Wood reviewed Resolution No. 78, Ordinance No. 1234, and Ordinance No. 1235. He stated <br />that Resolution No. 78 states that the property does meet the statutory requirements for annexation. <br />Ordinance No. 1234 is the annexation ordinance and Ordinance No. 1235 is for zoning the property <br />Agri cultural. <br /> <br />Davidson moved that Council approve Resolution No. 78, Series 1996, seconded by Sisko All in <br />favor with Howard being absent. <br /> <br />(2) ORDINANCE NO. 1234, SERIES 1996 - APPROVING AN ANNEXATION, <br />KNOWN AS THE MARTENS ANNEXA TION, TO THE CITY OF <br />LOUISVILLE, COLORADO - 2ND READING - PUBLIC HEARING (PUBL. <br />LSVL. TIMES 11/9, 11/16, 11/23 & 11/30/96) <br /> <br />Griffiths read by title only Ordinance No. 1234, Series 1996, "An ordinance approving an <br />annexations, known as the Martens Annexation, to the City of Louisville, Colorado." <br /> <br />Davidson opened the public hearing calling for the applicant's presentation. <br /> <br />Peter Stewart, architect, 1132 Jefferson Avenue, Louisville, Colorado, acting as the owner's <br />representative, was there to answer any questions. <br /> <br />5 <br />
