Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that this is to amend the use group section of the Louisville <br />Municipal Code to include massage therapy as a use-by-fight. Staff recommended that it be <br />incorporated under personal services group #24. This use group is a permitted use in the BO, CC, <br />and CB zone districts, and a special review use in the AO, RH, CN, and industrial zone districts. <br />January 10, 1995, Planning Commission approved 5 - 0 amending the definition of"Personal Service <br />Shop," Section 17.08.370 of the Louisville Municipal Code, to include Massage Therapy facilities. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Council comments or motions. <br /> <br />Mayer moved that Council approve Ordinance No. 1181, Series 1995, on first reading, set out for <br />publication, and set a public hearing for February 21, 1995. Seconded by Keany. All in favor. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1182, SERIES 1995 - REPEAL MAXIMUM CONCENTRATION FOR <br />ZINC IN SECTION 13.32.129 SPECIFIC POLLUTANT CONCENTRATION OF 0.1345 <br />MG/L - 1ST READING - SET PUBLIC HEARING 2/21/95 <br /> <br />Griffiths read by title only Ordinance No. 1182, Series 1995, "An ordinance to revise the specific <br />pollutant limitation for zinc as set forth in Section 14.32.120 of the city's sewer use regulations, <br />chapter 13.32 of the Louisville Municipal Code." <br /> <br />Tom Phare, Public Works Director, stated that this is a minor modification in the numerical value <br />which is applied to industrial pre-treatment discharges. <br /> <br />Mayer moved that Council approve Ordinance No. 1182, Series 1995, at first reading, set out for <br />publication, and set a public hearing for February 21, 1995. Seconded by Sisk. All in favor. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4, SERIES 1995 - SETTING A GOAL LIMITING THE NUMBER OF <br />RESIDENTIAL BUILDING PERMITS ISSUED IN CALENDAR YEAR 1995 <br /> <br />Davidson moved that Council continue this item until the next Council meeting on February 21, 1995. <br />Seconded by Mayer. All in favor. <br /> <br />SELECTION OF COORDINATOR FOR LOUISVILLE FALL FESTIVAL <br /> <br />Lathrop moved that Council award the contract for the administration of the Fall Festival to Eleanor <br />Cabbage, authorize the City Attorney to do the standard contract, consistent with the bid, with the <br />RFP as the basis, and authorize the Mayor to sign said contract. Seconded by Keany. Roll call was <br />taken.
