I also informed Mr. Sackett that we were having this meeting. Mr. Sackett has been our representative on highways and also on W-470 and DRCOG. I informed John that they called the meeting on Saturday." '"I tried to use the best judgment I could for the benefit of the citizens of this city. I do not feel that it was a secret meeting. It was not held in Louisville, it was held in Broomfield, and they are a home ruled city. There was no intent for i t. t c> tie a secret meeting . " Hornbostel responded, "I guess the question I hav~:~: for you is, where did you get your direction in order to decide th~~1 ,~ i r~~c~r't access is what this council had directed you to do. We had not had a public meeting on this. I find it very unconscionable that I have to find out from the newspaper s that such a meeting has taken place. I want to say that from now on I think all of us would like to be apprised of what is going on in the City of Louisville." Mayor Fauson stated he had no problem with that and the only issue that was agreed on was that we did want direct access to the airport. Mayor Fauson felt this issue was discussed and there was a general agreement at a Work Session. Hornbostel stated, "I believe that the work session that you were talking about w.~y not something that we got to vote on. We were not council people at the time. I distinctly remember that when we finished up that session, it was voted on by the other council. I don't feel that is valid. My feeling is there are a lot of details in this, and I feel that the citizens deserve to be able to have representation from all of us . That' s what I ' m asking for in this." 4
