Roll Call vote the motion was defeated 3-4 with Davidson, Szymanski, Howard and Hornbostel voting no. Davidson moved and Howard seconded to withdraw from the W-470 authority all together. By Roll Call vote the motion was defeated 3-4 with Mayor Fauson, Szymanski, Sackett and Carnival voting no. Howard moved and Sackett seconded to have three work sessions with the public on W-470 starting sometime in March. In the work sessions the issues on exactly what the people would like to have will be discussed. Motion passed 7-0. PRESENTATION - FIRE DISTRICT - ISO RATING Asti-Caranci stated that the fire district would like to make a brief presentation about the new Fire Issuance Classification Rating. Phil Paolilli, representing the Louisville Fire District, gave documentation on the fire classification rating. The evaluation of the fire insurance classification for the district which includes the city of Louisville has improved to 5 for properties within 1,000 feet of a fire hydrant and within 5 road miles of a fire station. Areas over 1,000 feet from a fire hydrant are Class 9 and properties over 5 road miles from a fire station remain Class 10. PRESENTATION - CHAMBER OF COMMERCE - RECREATION PROGRAM SCHOLARSHIP FUND Mrs. Lathrop and Becky Bridgewater presented to the city a check in the amount of $230.07 to establish a scholarship fund. The fund will assist economically disadvantaged youths to cover fees charged in recreation programs. On behalf of the City of Louisville and the City Council, Mayor Fauson thanked the Chamber of Commerce for their help in starting this scholarship fund.
