GRACE MAR SUBDIVISION - REQUEST FOR OUTSIDE WATER SERVICE Phare stated the city has received a request from presentations of the Grace Mar Subdivi- sion for backup water service. The subdivi- sion is requesting that they be allowed to access the City~s water utility system for water service during peak summer months as their existing well system cannot meet de- mands. Typically the City has required annexation in order to provide municipal services. In this case the policy needs to be reconsidered as the subdivisions cause difficulties in providing municipal services. Inspection of the subdivision indicates that it is not constructed to the City of Louis- ville standards, such as, curb and gutter, streets, street width, street pavement thick- ness, sewer lines, water lines and storm drainage.
