FUNDING REQUEST - CONTRI}3UTION - CLINICA CAMPENSINA <br />Pete Liebig from Clinica Campensina <br />Family Health Service gave a <br />presentation to the Fiance Committee <br />members regarding their request for <br />financial assistance, from the City of <br />Louisville, to help pay sliding fees to <br />register children eligible for Medicaid <br />in Boulder County. The Clinica is <br />requesting a contribution of $200 from <br />the City Council. <br />Carnival stated the Finance Committee <br />would recommend approval to fund this <br />project of 5200. <br />Szymanski moved and Davidson seconded to <br />fund the Clinica Campensina Family <br />Health Service for $200. All in favor. <br />Motion passed. <br />PRESENTATION - SPECIAL TRANSIT CONTRACT <br />Baysinger gave a brief presentation <br />about the Special Transit transportation <br />to be provided to the elderly and <br />disabled persons. Two notable changes <br />are included in this year's proposed <br />agreement 1) no donation will be <br />requested by riders to and from the <br />Louisville Recreation Center and 2) <br />donation requests will be limited to one <br />dollar for other rides. <br />Hornbostel moved and Sackett seconded to <br />approve the Special Transit Contract and <br />authorize the mayor to sign the <br />contract. All in favor. Motion passed. <br />UPDATE - PARK PETITIONS - COMMUNITY SERVICE <br />Baysinger stated staff has met with <br />Alfie Pena last week to discuss the park <br />issue. We have done some research and <br />do have some answers to some of the <br />concerns. We would like to establish a <br />work session with the Council to discuss <br />these issues. <br />Alfie Pena stated there is a <br />neighborhood work group that has been <br />established to work with the Council and <br />the city staff. <br />June 7 at 7 : 00 p . m. was scheduled as a <br />4 <br />
