If Council is interested we may want to <br /> respond with a letter and select a Council person <br /> interested in serving on the task force. <br />Hornbostel: Felt the city was in a position to benefit from <br /> this because we are already along the rail line. <br /> Transportation is a big issue. I think we need to <br /> get involved in this. <br />Davidson: Agreed with Hornbostel. I feel this is a very <br /> positive thing to the area. I think because of <br /> the railroad tracks that already go through the <br /> city this could be very positive for the city. I <br /> would fully support it. <br />Davidson moved to have a letter drafted stating our interest <br /> <br />that we expec , <br />t to fund this in our 1991 Budget and Hornbostel <br />will be serving on the task force, seconded by Szymanski. Motion Passed. <br />Mayor Fauson stated we will go into Executive Session and return <br />to the Council meeting in about 15 minutes. <br />Mayor Fauson called the meeting back to order. <br />APPROVAL OF RIGHT OF WAY ACQUISITION - DRAINAGEWAY "B" - OUTFACE <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />Phare: Earlier tonight we were talking about the drainage <br />for the downtown project. I have present three <br />contracts for the purchase of land that we propose <br />to offer to the sellers to complete the project. <br />I recommend that we purchase the property that is <br />necessary to complete the project. The purchase <br />of each of the properties are as follows: the <br />amount is not to exceed 523,700 for the Mayhoffer <br />parcel, $1,300 for the Paulaconi parcel and $900 <br />10 <br />
