Helms property at 9255 Paradise Lane subject to the landowners requesting annexation into the City of Louisville when they meet requirements and at that time refund the difference between the city water tap and an outside city water tap, seconded by Howard. Howard amended the motion to address Mayor Fauson's concerns about ensuring that we don't do this for ever. I would also request as a friendly amendment that we look into determining a maximum number of outside water taps that we should support, seconded by Davidson. Griffiths: It would be my recommendation that this motion provide for written agreement with the property owner between the city realizing these terms that you have set forth in the motion, authorizing the Mayor to execute an agreement with these terms. Davidson stated he would like to add that to his motion, seconded by Howard. Motion passed 4-1 with Mayor Fauson voting no. Councilman Carnival abstained from voting. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT NONE CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT Brand: Reminded everyone of the meeting with the Broomfield planning staff, along with Commissioner Ron Stewart and Boulder planning staff, December 19. We had decided to hold the first Council meeting in January on the 3rd, however, three of our Council members will be at a public meeting that evening to elect the replacement for Sandy Hume. I was wondering if we could cancel that meeting. There are very few things for that meeting. (It was the consensus of the Council to cancel the January 3rd meeting.) There also will be a work session on January 8, with John Buechner. Also Christmas Day is Councilman Howard's birthday and there will be birthday cake after the meeting for everyone.
