Phare: We do not take water through any of the delivery systems on the south side of U.S. 36. It is a possibility in the future, and the pipe line should accommodate that. Davidson: Do we have an idea of what this is worth? Phare: I have not seen an appraisal on this. The Ditch Company has been talking about this for about a year. Davidson: I think I would like to see an appraisal on this. Phare: Stated that the Ditch Company thought this was a fair appraisal. Council had some concerns about a fair appraisal of the land and if $90,000 was a fair price. The people that negotiated the agreement felt it was a fair price. Howard moved to authorize the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute the agreement abandoning the easements and rights-of-ways for irrigation ditches related to the South Boulder and Coal Creek First .Extension Ditch with Richmond Homes Inc. with further authorization to execute a quit claim deed for the same interest of a prorated fee of no less than 530,000 contingent upon an appraisal of the land, seconded by Sackett. Howard amended his motion and deleted contingent upon an appraisal, seconded by Sackett. Motion passed 5-l, with Davidson voting no. Councilman Carnival asked to be excused from the next Agenda Item. Griffiths read by title only, Resolution No. 37, 1990, "A Resolution amending the 1990 budget by increasing revenues and appropriations in the General, Capital Improvement, Cemetery, Debt Service, Capital Construction, Water, Wastewater, and Golf Course Funds." Asti-Caranci: Resolution No. 37 will amend the 1990 Budget.
