An IGA will be signed with State for PW <br /> then seek reimbursement. The City will seek reimbursement concurrently with IGA <br /> approvals. The State typically does reimbursement for work completed on quarterly <br /> basis. Reimbursement is anticipated within 2-3 months. <br /> Anticipated funding: FEMA up to 75% ($445,500); State of Colorado: up to 12.5% <br /> ($74,250); Louisville local match of 12.5% ($74,200); pending grant application with <br /> Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) to assist with local match of$74,200. <br /> Request for Proposals (REP) - February 13, 2013 Request for Proposals (RFP) for the <br /> Design and Construction services: Two Design/Consultant teams responded. The <br /> selection committee evaluated on several criteria and recommended Goodland <br /> Construction, Inc. <br /> Consultant Firms Base Bid <br /> Goodland Construction, Inc. $398,296 <br /> Landscapes Unlimited $549,029 <br /> Performance Criteria: Goodland will work with staff, FEMA and State of CO to ensure <br /> compliance with the contract documents and reimbursement from FEMA and the OEM. <br /> The contractor will return the trail to pre-disaster conditions at all locations. The <br /> contractor will complete all work in base bid within 4 month of receiving the Notice to <br /> Proceed. The contractor will complete additive alternatives as expeditiously as possible <br /> working with the city and the other stakeholders. The contractor anticipates it will add <br /> 20 days to complete add/alt #2 at Highway 36 following coordination with CDOT, the <br /> Town of Superior and Boulder County, and 20 days to complete add/alt #6 following <br /> Urban Drainage's work at the BNSF location. <br /> She presented slides of the erosion along the Coal Creek trail and noted there are <br /> twenty-two spots of erosion along the 4-mile trail. The anticipated timeline is to begin <br /> construction in April of 2014, and be substantially completed by September of 2014. <br /> The grand reopening of the Coal Creek is in the autumn of 2014. She stressed the <br /> importance of the public staying off the trail and the golf course until construction is <br /> complete. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Council member Stolzmann asked if any work needed to be done on the bridge at <br /> Highway 42. CIP Manager Trettin stated the work at Highway 42 has already been <br /> completed by Urban Drainage. <br /> 41 <br />
