Louisville City Council Meeting <br />February 4, 2003 <br />Page 4 <br /> <br />· She noted the 2003 budget includes $10,000 for a lobbyist. She summarized the <br /> Group received good feedback with respect to the US36 project. <br /> <br />Davidson reported they discussed the project with Senator Allard, of the Banking <br />Committee, and Senator Beauprez, of the House Transportation Committee. <br /> <br />Sisk reported he viewed the Self Propelled Railcar, in Broomfield, which is being <br />displayed for public inspection. He distributed brochures to members of Council and <br />noted the railcar is quite impressive. He urged his constituents to view the Railcar and <br />reported it could be viewed on February 5th in Boulder at 30th & Pearl from 11 am to 2 <br />pm, and February 7th in Longmont, at 1 st t~ Martin from 11 am to 6 pm. <br /> <br />Brown recognized the passing of Josephine Milano, the longest standing resident of <br />Louisville. She moved to Louisville in 1906 and lived in Louisville her entire life. He <br />reported meeting Mrs. Milano during his campaign for office. He commemorated her <br />contributions to the City and her longevity. <br /> <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br /> <br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE BOARD AND COMMISSION APPOINTMENTS <br /> <br />Council interviewed applicants for various City Board and Commission vacancies on <br />Saturday, February 1 st and Tuesday, February 4th. Davidson stated he was expressed <br />with the citizens who applied to serve on City Boards and Commissions. <br /> <br />Sisk thanked the citizens participating in the interview process and Administrative <br />Assistant Belinda Goebel for scheduling the interviews. He nominated the following: <br /> <br />Arts & Humanities Council - Four vacancies: 3-year terms expiring January 2006. <br /> <br />Gary Guerriero, Barbara LeBlanc, Jill Maxwell, and Walt Hubis. <br /> <br />Resource Conservation Advisory Board - One vacancy: 4-year term expiring January <br />2007. Jacquelin Collins. <br /> <br />Open Space Advisory Board - One vacancy (alternate): 3-year term expiring January <br />2006. Gary Mansdorder. <br /> <br />Local Licensing Authority - One vacancy (associate): 2-year term expiring January 2005. <br /> Thomas Mulvahill - Associate Member. <br /> <br />Building Code Board of Appeals - Two vacancies: One 3-year term expiring January <br />2006. One associate 3-year term expiring January 2006. <br /> Bill Eckert - Regular Member and Rex Olson - Associate Member. <br /> <br /> <br />
