All in favor. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1203, SERIES 1995 - RENAMING A PORTION OF THE STREET <br />KNOWN AS "CHERRY STREET" ON THE PLAT OF "THE INN KEEPER SUBDIVISION <br />PLAT" TO (EAST OF COUNTY ROAD) TO "WEST STREET" - 1ST READING - SET <br />PUBLIC HEARING 10/17/95 <br /> <br />Griffiths read by title only Ordinance No. 1203, Series 1995, "An ordinance renaming a portion of <br />the street known as "Cherry Street" as designated on the plat of "The In Keeper Subdivision Plat" to <br />"West Street." <br /> <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that as a condition of approval of the In Keeper Subdivision <br />Plat and PUD Development Plan, the Subdivider was required to rename the portion of Cherry Street, <br />which is adjacent to the In Keeper Subdivision between East Street and its intersection with County <br />Road. This ordinance proposes to rename that portion of Cherry Street to West Street. <br /> <br />Davidson stated that there are already too many like-named streets in Louisville. LOUIS CATHOLIC CHURCH PARKING PLAN - 901 <br />GRANT AVENUE <br /> <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that as a condition of the St. Louis Final PUD Development <br />Plan in April of 1995, Council directed staff to bring back a parking management plan prior to the <br />issuance of a certificate of occupancy for the church. On May 11, 1995, a public meeting was held <br />and the resulting status was in Council's packet (SEE ATTACHED), which Wood reviewed. <br /> <br />Davidson called for the applicant's presentation. <br /> <br />Bob Brisnehan, 913 Main Street, Louisville, Colorado, chairman of the building committee for St. <br />Louis Church, stated that he objects to changing the "No Parking - Loading Zone" to "No <br />Unattended Parking" in both sets of the drop-offs. He pointed out that the one on the left side of <br />Grant, the parents are obligated to take their children into the school, so the car is there for five or <br />ten minutes unattended. <br /> <br />Tom Phare, Public Works Director, recommended starting without the curb being painted yellow, <br />but asked for time to study the situation. <br /> <br />Davidson suggested approving this and then let staffwork out the details. <br /> <br /> <br />
