RESOLUTION NO. 52, SERIES 1995 - APPROVING FINAL PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN <br />AND FINAL SUBDIVISION PLAT - FILING NO. 5 - NEODATA <br /> <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that the applicant was requesting to add 1.24 acres to their <br />property and amend their current PUD development plan to incorporate an additional 127 parking <br />spaces, which will relieve parking congestion near the dock areas on the west side of the facility. <br />Twenty-four trees currently located in the existing detention area will be transplanted along the <br />perimeter of the project. An additional 21, 2" caliper trees will be planted in the landscape buffer. <br /> <br />Davidson called for the applicant's presentation. <br /> <br />Don Shonkwiler, H.D. Delaware Properties, Inc., 400 South Boulder Road, Louisville, Colorado was <br />there to answer any questions. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Council questions. <br /> <br />Sisk asked that the trees being planted be 2 1/2" to 3" caliper. <br /> <br />Mayer wanted the parking lot berming to block any outside viewing of headlights. <br /> <br />Sisk moved that Council approve Resolution No. 52, Series 1995, and that the trees to be planted be <br />2" caliper and any trees that are transplanted and die would be replaced with trees of like size. <br />Seconded by Mayer. All in favor with Howard and Lathrop being absent. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 53, SERIES 1995 - APPROVING THE LAW ENFORCEMENT <br />ASSISTANCE FUND (LEAF) CONTRACT L-07-96 <br /> <br />Bruce Goodman, Chief of Police, stated that this will be the third consecutive year of LEAF funding <br />for Louisville. The 1996 award is $15,000 for an officer's salary and $12,000 toward the purchase <br />of a new patrol car. The City's in-kind match is $49,508 for the remainder of the officer's salary, <br />administrative overhead, and the rest of the new car purchase. He commented that this will be the <br />last year of LEAF funding for Louisville's Police Department, as they only fund for three consecutive <br />years. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Council comments, questions, or motions. <br /> <br />Sisk moved that Council approve Resolution No. 53, Series 1995, accepting Colorado Department <br />of Transportation LEAF funding for drunk driver enforcement. Seconded by Levihn.
